A bulk load is a way to recognize a group of students who all participated in the same event/activity or all received the same award. It is an efficient way to add information to the cocurricular record because while many students may have participated, you will only need to add the information to the interface one time, instead of entering information for each student individually.
As a faculty/staff advisor of a group of multiple students participating in the same event or activity, it is your job to submit the item to be placed on the students' cocurricular record. You will need (1) some information about the event/item, and (2)banner numbers of each student that has participated.
Once you have this information together, you are ready to enter the information in TruView. For a step-by-step, screen-by-screen look at how to go about this, click here.
*It is wise to enter banner numbers of ALL students who participated, regardless of whether they have asked for the item to be included on their cocurricular record or not. This will avoid you having to enter the same item multiple times. Just because you have entered the information and submitted it, that does not mean that it will automatically show up on the students' record. The student is given the choice whether or not they would like an item submitted by you to be included in their record.
