Assigning Activities to Quadrants

Department/Central Office Entry:

In cases, you will not be expected to enter the data into your cocurricular record because University Offices will be entering the data.  For example: Student organizations are asked to select or are classified into the quadrant that best fits the primary purpose of their organizations.  Elected offices in any student organization are logged into Quandrant 4.  This data will be entered by the Center for Student Involvement and need only be reviewed for accuracy by the student. 

Self-Selecting Quadrants:

In building your cocurricular journal, you will be asked to pick the quadrant that best fits your activity as you are entering.  Although most activities will contribute to more than one quadrant, we ask you to log the activity in the quadrant that best represents the purpose or primary outcome of the experience.  We offer the following three grids and statements to help you with quadrant selection.
